He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf John Taegetmeyer and Gertrude Lee Taegtmeyer; his wife Wilma Jean Carter Taegtmeyer; and his siblings, B. E., Elmer Taegtmeyer, Josei Mae T. Wilson, Elda T. Owens, Grace Banton West, Delores Hagen, Clara Owens, Laverne Taegtmeyer and Nora Meredith.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Taegtmeyer of Wynne and Sharon McMickle of Wynne; his grandchildren, Levi Taegtmeyer (Andrea), Madelyn Tidwell (Andy) and Demi Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Levia, Luke Taegtmeyer, Chance and Breanna Mitchell.
