He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moses and Ada "Jewell" Russell (Steele). He is survived by: his wife Joy Elaine Anderson; his children, Christy Bennett (Russell), Dustin Russell and Shandy Dersham (Russell); his grandchildren, Valerie, Gage Russell, Ryan, Maisie Bennett, Mila and Cohen Dersham; and his siblings, Sandra Mae Bell (Russell), John David Russell and Joseph Dale Russell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
