He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Snyder and Dessie Jeanette Snyder (Selover); his son Jan Snyder; and his siblings, Lula Mildred, Kenneth Richard, Charles Keith, Mary Lillian and Yola Pauline.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Snyder; his children, John Snyder (Elizabeth), James Snyder (Aivy) and Joanne Nuzum (Scott); and his stepdaughters, Andrea Wolverton and Lynn Savell. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
