He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arch Barber and Jessie Barber (Clements); and his siblings, Loyd Barber, Duane Barber, Junior Barber, Marie Tackitt, Fannie Painter, Essie Mabes and Helen White.
He is survived by: his former wife Emma Jane Gibson; his wife Jane Barber of Wiseman, Arkansas; his sons, Joe Barber of Supply, Jon Barber (Jennifer) of Cabot and James Barber (Ginger) of Sheridan, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Samantha Broughton, Emma Barber, Paige Barber, Drew Barber, Brody Barber, Quaid Barber, Dylan Barber, Kaitlyn Barber Roxas and James Levi Barber; his great grandchildren, Elsee, Chase, Titus, Emmy, Auni, Tinley Roxas and Falynn Broughton; and his siblings, J. D. Barber (Louise) of Lee Summitt, Missouri, Pat Cambron of Lee Summitt and Wanda Cotter (Harold) of Viola, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; many other relatives, and friends.
