He was predeceased by: his parents, Custer Lee and Bessie Marie Johnson Forrest; his son Ronnie Lee Forrest; his grandson John Luke Shomo; and his siblings, Richard, Bobby, Jimmy, Sammy, Donald, Roy Lynn Forrest, Nell Bean, Nancy Lambert, Susie Keeton and Linda Wilcox.
He is survived by: his spouse Ivie Mae Forrest; his daughter Mary Beth Forrest of Winthrop; his grandchildren, Matthew Forrest Lee (Kayla) of Winthrop and Maycee Brooke Shomo of Winthrop; and his great grandchild Ava Lee of Winthrop. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
