It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas James Smith (Winthrop, Arkansas), who passed away on March 30, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Smith and Ruth Van Eman Smith; and his siblings, Betty Culp, Curtis Smith and David Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Patricia Griggs Smith; his daughter Sheri Lynn; his son-in-law Will Roberts of Texarkana, Texas; his siblings, Frederick Smith of Winthrop and Martha June Markwalter of Texarkana; his grandsons, William Nicholas Roberts and Cory Lane Roberts (Cady); and his great grandchild Caroline Leigh Roberts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
