He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Nelson Manning and Betty Marie Manning (White); his wife Sharon Manning; his stepson Tommy Poynter; and his sister Crystal Hurbert.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Laird (Freddy) of Winslow, Kenneth Nelson of Nixa and Shelly Curtis of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
