We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2023, at the age of 90, Donny Browning of Winslow, Arkansas, born in Checotah, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Oran Browning and Ellie Maye Browning (Borum); and his siblings, Woodroe, Curtis, Phillip and Faye.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ritchie; his brother Dewey Browning of Van Buren, Arkansas.; his children, Vicki Scherer (Scott) of Okmulgee, Brion Browning of Checotah and Dr. Penny Smythe (LaRay) of Muskogee; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Lakey (Daniel), Andy Scherer (Vonda), Amy Pool (Meacham), John Scherer (Patricia), Natalie Giulioli (Brad), Brigett Aldridge (Kenny), Matt Browning, Scott Smythe (Alyssa), Spencer Smythe (Samantha), Sara Smythe and Karis Scroggins. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
