She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, JC Fowler and Betty Jo Fowler; her pets, Roscoe, Darla, Zena, Bogart, Petey and Teela; her husband Terry Lee Melahn; her sons, Charles Giertz (Sherrie Giertz), Darren Giertz (Angela Locklin) and Daniel Giertz (Kelly Smith); and her grandchildren, Branden Giertz (Stacy), Justin Giertz, Madlyn Fay, Devon Giertz, Olivia Giertz and Zack Giertz. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
