He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Mary Etta Morgan Moncrief; his wife Linda Moncrief; and his siblings, Etta Moncrief Laur, Delbert Moncrief, Wanda Moncrief Stevens, Doile Moncrief, Dorothy Moncrief, Bill Moncrief and Rose Marie Moncrief.
He is survived by: his sons, Troy Moncrief (Gina) of West Fork and Mark Moncrief (Penny) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his siblings, Atropa Moncrief Rye, Frances Moncrief Townsend (Will), June Moncrief Myers, Ruthie Moncrief Hughes and MaryAnna Moncrief Goad; and his cousins, Waco Brock (Debbie) of Satsuma, LA and Dennis Brock of West Fork. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
