He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Penn Wheeler and Sally Mae Wheeler; his wife Susan Wheeler of Wilton; his stepdaughter Brandi Patterson of Lubbock, TX; his sister Lorraine McBride of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Grace and Summer Patterson of Lubbock, TX. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
