He is survived by: his wife Wanda Ann Porter (Vermillion); his son Cody Porter (Vera) of Jacksonville, AR.; his brother Colonel Billy Ray Porter; his grandchildren, Christopher Porter, Jensyn Porter, Anthony Hill of Bryant, AR and Laura Porter of Jacksonville, AR; and his great grandchild Allen Ellwood of Jacksonville, AR.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
