He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Williams and Vennie Mae Williams; and his brother Alton Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Norman Hughes (Laqwesha) of Crossett, AR, Shawn Williams of Little Rock, AR and Valco Williams of Little Rock, AR; and his siblings, Wilbert "Wayne" Collins (Peggy), Thomas Williams (Bernadette) and Patricia Williams (Stanley). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
