She was predeceased by: her son Stephen W. Otwell, Jr. (Deniece) of Little Rock; her mother Alice Durham Low; her sisters, Sandra Low McGaugh and Kay Low Gable; and her aunt Emma Sanderson.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Otwell of Wilmot; her children, Sherrer McKenzie (Christopher) of Lake Providence, Louisiana and Matt Otwell (Mary Michelle) of Zachary, Louisiana; her siblings, Viron T. Kersh, III of Wilmot, Penny Crowson of Tupelo and Judy Cannon (James) of Greensboro, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Tyler Otwell (Courtney), Mary Katelyn Dumond (Tristian), Hallie Jernigan, Hadden Jernigan, Thomas Batton (Drew Bennett), Davis Batton (Regan), Malin Batton, Ally McKenzie, Alexander Otwell and Abigail Otwell. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
