He was predeceased by: his daughter Louella Owens; his father Owen Raino; his stepmother Lucille Raino; his mother Lessie B. Owens; his stepfather Clifton Owens, Sr.; his siblings, Yourley "Buck" Owens, Twila Randolph, Dora Owens, Shirley Walker, Mary Randolph, Lessie B. "Allie" Brown and Bobbie Jo Raino; and his grandson Lance Elmon Owens, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Tecennia Owens; his children, Lance Owens Sr. (Cheryl) of Kansas City, KS, Janetta Spencer (William IV) of Hueytown, AL and Randy Owens (Berrian) of Kansas City, KS; his nephew Maron Jackson of Kansas City, KS; and his siblings, Ruthie Mae Owens, Verlee Brown, Naomi Ivory, Connie Owens, Charles Raino (Charlotte), Clifford Owens Jr. and Gregory Owens (Linda). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
