He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Cater of Wilmar; his son Jerry Richard Cater; his stepdaughter Amanda Meier (Darrell); his siblings, Deborah Jean Wyckoff (Wes) of Caterville and Timothy Edward Cater of Monticello; and his granddaughter Hailee Price. He is also survived by his family and friends.
