He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Felton Thomas and Clarice Leonard Hoover; and his sister Angela Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Teresa Young (Cody) of Rye, Lexi Thomas of Wilmar and Tristan Thomas of Wilmar; his brothers, Jimmy Hoover of Alabama, Tim Hoover of Monticello and Kevin Hoover of Coleman; and his grandchildren, Parker Arnold, Carson Young and Adelyn Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
