He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Joseph and Rena Fern Higgins (Heath); his former wife Betty Higgins; his sons, Dennis Higgins and Darren "Butch" Higgins; and his stepson Kevin Sewell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Higgins; his children, Donna Norris (Ken), Darryl Jay Higgins (Annie), Deanna Fouts (Kirk) and Danny Higgins; his stepdaughters, Tami Underwood (Bruce) and Keri Cunningham (Heyward); and his daughters-in-law, Sheri Higgins and Angie Higgins. He is also survived by twenty two grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
