He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Riley and Lela May Shackelford (Rice); his siblings, Dub, Ralph, Donald, Kenneth, Jody and Pauline Finney; and his son Michael.
He is survived by: his sons, Joel (Susan) of Hardy, Ark and Jody (Crystal) of Cherokee Village; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Joseph, Ashley Shackelford, DeAnna McGinnes (John), Christopher, Bradley Lawrey, Dalton Coble and Lilly McMahon; and his brother Terry (Jeanette). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
