He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Cox and Daisy May Myers; and his brother Jackie Gray. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Blazer; his children, Steven Cox (Melissa) and Karole Waters (Carol); his granddaughters, Christina Cox and MiKala Waters; and his brother Jessie Lee Cox.
