Isaac Francis McCain Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2020, at the age of 100, Isaac Francis McCain of Widener, Arkansas, born in Oxford, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isaac Lafayette McCain and Zelphia Elizabeth Crawford (Joan); his wife Syble Rice; his children, Joan Collier (Ed) of Forrest City and Isaac Francis McCain, Jr. (Ike); his brother Bill; his granddaughters, Kristen Wright (Marshall) and Lauren Brookman (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Collier Wright of Forrest City, Syble Wright of Forrest City and Sophie Grace Brookman of Forrest City. He was also cherished by his great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to First United Methodist Church in Forrest City, or to continue his legacy of service through the Francis McCain Endowment for Charitable Giving at the St. Francis County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 3002, Forrest City, AR 72335.
