She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Ollie Smith; her husband Dennis Larry Lockeby; her brother Robert Teal; her daughter Cathy Denise Townsend; and her grandson Stephen Eugene Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, William Lee Townsend, Stephen Anthony Townsend and Karla Wright Neal; her brother Edward Teal; and her half-brother Billy Edwards. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
