He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Quarles and Florance Vincent Quarles; his wife Patricia Bond Quarles; his children, Jeffery Lynn Quarles and Patricia Gail Quarles; his granddaughter Amber Jo Sides; and his siblings, Bobby Quarles, Jeffery Quarles, Charles Quarles, Gerald Quarles and Lessie Quarles Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Becky Jo Sides; his grandson Jay Sides (Terri); and his great grandchildren, Rosalyn Sides, Jackson Marcum, J. Sides and Roman James Sides. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
