Shanti is survived by: siblings, Govindbhai (Manjulaben), Dhansukhbhai (Lilaben), Thakorbhai (Jasuben) and Godavriben; children, Navinbhai (Lalitaben Patel), Ajaykumar, Trusha Patel (Maumelle), Premilaben (Chandrakant Patel) and Rekhaben (Mukesh Desai); and grandchildren, Nilam, Prashant, Chintan, Sarika, Jignesh, Dimple, Jashmini, Anjali and Rahil.
