It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Carlyle Dockery (White Hall, Arkansas), born in Henderson, Tennessee, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Pam Truman; and also, Nancy Barbaree Dockery, Carlyle and June Dockery. He is survived by: his wife Diane Burton Dockery; his sisters, Nell Owen (Randy) of Madison, AL and Susan Stotler (Gary) of Cabot, AR; and his stepsons, Shawn McDougale (Angie), Neil Barbaree, Joel Barbaree (Brooke) and Justin Barbaree. He is also survived by 5 grand children, 4 great-grand children, and a host of friends and family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hardin Baptist Church (300 Todd Lynn Dr, White Hall, AR 71602). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
