He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Willie and Mary Elizabeth Dillard Birge; and his siblings, Donald Birge, Tony Birge and Willie Mae "Sissy" Birge.
He is survived by: his wife Flavia Gorman Birge; his children, David Bryan Birge (Marilyn) of Wynne, Billy Joe Birge of Lake Charles, Christopher Michael Birge (Lauren) of Wynne and Michelle Gentry (Cody) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his stepsons, Warren Law of Pensacola and Will Law of White Hall; and his siblings, Vickie Birge Kirkland of White Hall and Danny Birge (Mary) of Watson Chapel. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
