He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Smith; his parents, Kenneth Smith and Floy Mae Smith; and his sister Sharon Minchew. He is survived by: his son Michael Smith; his siblings, Wayne Smith, Kathy Laster (Carlton) and Charlotte Jackson (Gale); his granddaughters, Kara Fautersack, Cassandra Andrews and Sophie Smith; and his stepgrandsons, Michael Hutcheson and Hunter Hutcheson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
