He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hopson and Mary Clifton Hopson; and his brother Curtis Hopson. He is survived by: his wife Connie Hopson of White Hall; his children, Troy King (Cassie) of Memphis, TN, Amy Allen (Kris) of Sheridan, Tonya Hopson of Hot Springs and Sarah Olsen; and his brother David Hopson (Jane) of White Hall. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
