It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Arlene Medley of White Hall, Arkansas, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bernard Anderson and Nora "Arlene" Cunningham Anderson; her husband David King Medley; and her great grandchild Hunter Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Daniel of White Hall; her grandchildren, Sarah Daniel (Gage Atkinson) of White Hall and Lindsey Daniel of White Hall; her son David "Brian" Medley (Kim) of Soldotna; her grandchildren, Amanda Miller (Scott) of Woodlawn, Mariah Novela (George) of El Paso and Michael Medley of Soldotna, Alaska; her sister Neva McAlister (William "Bill" McAlister) of White Hall; her niece Becky Holland (Chris) of Sherrill; her great-nephew Tommy Holland; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Jude, Benjamin, Elijah and Natalia.
In lieu of flowers, 'Granny, as she was so lovingly known, would tell you to plant a flower or tree in your yard, to love your kids and pets no matter what, and to feed the birds in her honor. If you would rather make a donation to a charity, her favorite charities were St. Jude's and the American Cancer Society.
