He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wellenberger, Jr. and Marjory Thomasson Wellenberger; and his brother Robert B. Wellenberger. He is survived by: his wife Judy Dianne Young of Pine Bluff; his son John Augustin Wellenberger IV (Margaret Grotendorst); his brothers, Paul and Peter Wellenberger; and his grandchildren, Charlotte Blackburn Grotendorst-Wellenberger and Henri Augustin Grotendorst-Wellenberger.
