She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hilborn and Vera Wilkerson Hilborn; her husband Woody Hughes; her siblings, Mary Hooper, Billy, David and Tim Hilborn; and her nephews, Timmy Hilborn and Tommy Binns.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Hughes (Teri) of Bentonville, Gary Hughes (Karen) of Bryant and Donna Tucker of White Hall; her siblings, Delores Brown of Lake Village, Kay Pennington of Texas, Teresa Hilborn of Little Rock, Diane Mays of Greenbrier, Steve Hilborn of Texas and James Hilborn of Texas; and her grandchildren, Beth Carter, Matthew Tucker, Nissa Hughes, Kit Hughes, Thomas Hughes, Mia Hughes and Emily Hughes. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
