He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Margie Seagraves Johnson; his son David Johnson; and his siblings, Donald Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Pauline Waster and Louise Lucy.
He is survived by: his wife Yoshiko Johnson; and his children, Dudley Johnson of Judsonia, Mark Johnson (Shara) of Rector, Martin Johnson (Leighan) of Judsonia, Van Johnson (Lisa) of Benton, Zane Johnson of Fayetteville and Margie Brown (Robert) of Beebe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 the family has requested a private service.
