He was predeceased by: his father Dewey Columbus; and his wife Betty Carolyn Trowbridge Howell. He is survived by: his children, Wade Howell (Michelle) of Jefferson, Robin Howell of White Hall, Randy Howell (Mischelle) of Sulphur Springs and James Howell (Jodie) of White Hall; his granddaughters, Amanda Moore (Elvis Clinton) of Jefferson, Jessica Howell of Jefferson, Emily McCullough (Wes) of Sulphur Springs and Hannah Howell of White Hall; his great grandchildren, Makenzie Moore of Jefferson, Lathan Clinton of Jefferson, Chase Williams of Jefferson, Mason White of Jefferson and Noa McCullough; and his siblings, Mike Howell (Brenda) of Corsicana Texas, Patricia Burke, Bessie Glenn of Jonesboro and Sue Trowbridge of Jonesboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
