She was predeceased by: her father Lewie Hendrix Jennings; and her great grandchild Paxton Huggins. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Jef Carter of White Hall, Jeannie Shelton (Shannon) of White Hall and Blake Carter of White Hall; her grandchildren, Ashley Carter (Kris Rupple), Sydney Jones (Scott), Stone Carter, John Wesley Shelton (Anna Claire), Trey Carter, Skylar Shelton, Jesse Carter, Kody Carter and Haylee Carter; her great grandchildren, Shelton Ridge Jones and Sutton Jennings Jones; and her siblings, Harriet Simpkins and Mark Jennings. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The American Cancer Society in her honor.
