He is survived by: his wife Nora Pierce Cooper; his children, William Earl "Little Early" Cooper, Sonny Joe James Cooper and Dana Ann Harrison; and his brothers, William Junior Cooper and Adam Cooper. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
