It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Sue Hughes of Whelen Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Cooper and Faye Sims Cooper; her parents-in-law, Joe Hughes and Gail Hughes; her brother Sammy Cooper; and her granddaughter Raylynn Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Joe Hughes; her sons, Jimmy Joe Hughes (Amber) of Amity, Sam Hughes of Whelen Springs and B. J. Hughes (Ashley) of Gurdon; her siblings, Jimmy Cooper (Diann) of Whelen Springs and Lynn Lunsford of Sparkman; her nephews, Robbie Lunsford and J. W. Cooper (Makisha); and her grandchildren, Ryan Hughes, Brooklyn Hughes, Gracelyn Bryant, Payton Hughes, Aiden Hughes, Landon Johnson, Tristen Hughes, Layken Hughes, Dani Hughes and Natalee Hughes.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
