She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Berry and Gwendolyn Berry (Penfold); her husband Robert; the father of her children James Owen Vanderpool; and her sister Sally Parton.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Vanderpool (Rhonda), Steven Vanderpool, Debbie Vanderpool and Julie Atkinson (Anthony); and her stepchildren, Dennis Breedlove, Brenda Wilkinson and Beverly Eddings. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several step grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
