Raymond Bruce Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Bruce of West Memphis, Arkansas, born in Wilson, Arkansas, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 79.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Bruce and Opal Bruce; his brother Ray Bruce; and his sons, Neil and Paul Bruce.
He is survived by : his sister Jeanette Martin of Murfreesboro, TN.; his sons, Wendell Bruce (Robin) of Texarkana, AR, Malcolm Bruce of West Memphis, AR and Bryant Bruce of Guion, AR.; his grandchildren, Taylor Bruce, Earl Bruce, Addie Bruce and Duncan Robbins; and his great grandchildren, Caleigh Ann Bruce and Rhett Robbins.
Raymond was a member Angel's Way Baptist Church in Marion, AR and a retiree of Mapco Petroleum in Memphis, TN. He graduated from West Memphis High School in 1961 and from Arkansas State University of Jonesboro in 1967 with a degree in chemistry.
A small service will be held at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion on Thursday March 9 at 11:00am for close friends and family. Pastor Matthew Kerley will be presiding over the service Flowers are gratefully declined.
