With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Tidwell (West Memphis, Arkansas), born in Tyronza, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on October 28, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joann Tidwell (McGuire); his parents, Marcus M. Tidwell and Mary Beatrice Tidwell (Pollard); and his sisters, Bay Martin, Frances Miller and Juanita Tacker.
He is survived by: his sister Clara Barnes; his sons, Mark Tidwell (Tracy) and Tony Tidwell (Kathy); his grandchildren, Kassy Eason (Darren), Amy Champlin (Jeremy), Zach Tidwell (Morgan) and Ashley Shick (Johnathon); and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Eason, Hannah Eason, Stuart Champlin, Levi Champlin, Connor Champlin, John D Tidwell (Jack) and Beau Tidwell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301).
