He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Melton and Esther Melton; and his brother Dennis Melton. He is survived by: his son Matthew Melton (Doris) of Sandy, Utah; his sister Michele Miller (E. J.) of Marion, Arkansas.; and his nieces, Natalie Ballantyne, EmmaLee Grimes and Lannie Miller.
