Claude Steele Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Steele Sr. of West Memphis, Arkansas, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison R. Steele and Ellen Elezora Steele; his wife Linda; his son Claude R. "Rodney" Steele Jr.; and his sisters, Alice Knowlton, Ruby Sanders and Betty Mills.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin D. Steele (Lydia) of Little Rock, AR, Annette Voyles of Gilmore, AR, Theresa Romero (Wilson) of New Iberia, LA and Ellen Foote (McVey) of West Memphis; his sister Dorothy L. Elliot of Nixa, Missouri.; and his caregiver Caitlin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, a few great, great grandchildren.
