He is survived by: his wife Joy Hendrix Young; his stepchildren, Angela Kearns and Anthony Teague; his stepgrandsons, Benjamin and Jeremy Kearns; his sister Mala Vollaten; and his nephews, Rouse and Wesley Vollaten.
