With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Covington (West Memphis, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Billy's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Billy's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tom and Alice Clark Covington; and his brothers, J. T. Covington and Jimmy Dale Covington. He is survived by: his wife Diana Covington of West Memphis, Arkansas; his children, Billy Covington, Jr. (Autumn) of West Memphis, David Covington (Allison) of Springdale, Eric Covington of West Memphis and Shanna (Matt) of Marion; and his nephew Tracy Covington (Kim) of Marion. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great-nephew; one great-niece and several great-great-nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
