He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Lampley and Audrey Hays Lampley; his wife Earnestine Lampley; his siblings, Bob, Jack, J. D. Lampley and Mary Ellen Owens; his son Jeff Compton; and his granddaughter Debbie Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Lampley (Barbara) of Clarkesville, Mike Lampley of Southaven, Mississippi. and Beth Williamson (Jimmy) of Drummonds, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Massa, Melissa Milan, Jay Acred, Johnathan Lampley, Katie Taube, Drew Compton, Chris Compton, Lori Dahler, Angie Cotton, Glen Hogue, Brandi Grant and Shari Moore. He is also survived by twenty-three great-grand children.
