He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Alford and Harvey Alford; his wife Virginia Jones Alford; and his siblings, Edra Mae Evans, Thurman Earl Alford, Roland Alford, O'Neal Alford, Curtis Joe Alford and Olan Alford.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Alford of West Helena, Arkansas and Vicky Taylor (John) of Helena, Arkansas; his sister Abura Dean Terry of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and his sister-in-law Violet Newsom (Lenny). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
