He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter La Quansha Matthews; his grandson Jarvell Matthews of Little Rock, AR; his parents, Birtha Perry Matthews and Tom Matthews, Jr.; and his siblings, Sheryl Matthews Croft (Richard), Barbara Matthews Messenger (Otis) and Eric Jackson of Helena. He was also cherished by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
