It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Johnson of West Helena, Arkansas, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Russell Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Johnson and Ewell Johnson of Holly Grove, Arkansas.; his wife Vera Grantham Johnson; and his brother Col. Douglas Leo Johnson. He is survived by: his friend Carolyn Roy of Helena; his daughters, Marcia Cunningham (Joe Tom) and Karen Barrow (John); his grandsons, Dr. John Harley Barrow (June), Joseph Cotton Cunningham (Gwin), Russell Joel Barrow (Darnella) and Gordon Adrian Cunningham; and his great grandchildren, Cole Barrow, Reid Barrow (Vinessa), Peyton Barrow, Gage Barrow, Kendall Cunningham, Blaine Cunningham and Liz Cunningham.
