With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Gentry Jr. of West Helena, Arkansas, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Dillard Gentry, Sr.; and his brother Devon Dillard Gentry. He is survived by: his mother Martha Powell; his wife Connie Sue Gentry; his children, Chyanne Jamilyn Gentry and Trey Gentry; his siblings, Mark Gentry (Candy), Russell Gentry (Stacey) and Rena Corbitt; his nieces and nephews, Ciera Corbitt (Kyler), Kyleigh Gentry, Isabella, Sergio, Draegon and Eddie Corbitt, Jr. (Elizabeth); his stepmother Cindy Norman; and his great-nieces, Alivia Gibbs and Magnolia Corbitt.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (508 Plaza, West Helena, AR 72390). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (508 Plaza, West Helena, AR 72390).
