He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tom Mooney and Luvenia Johnson Mooney; his wife Ruth Mooney; his children, Jeffery B. Mooney (Brenda), Regenia Michele Mooney-Johnson and J. B. Mooney, Jr. (Maritza); his sisters, Elizabeth Brown and Lucille Mooney; his granddaughters, Angela and Michelle Mooney; and his great grandchild Alaina Mooney. He was also cherished by relatives, neighbors, friends and spiritual brothers and sisters.
