He was predeceased by: his father Robert David Hires; his grandparents, Elmer Burton Seaburn and Mary Jane Seaburn; and his uncle Eugene Seaburn. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Carol Seaburn Hires; his brothers, William Hires (Lexie) and Robert Hires (Mary); and his nieces, Jessica Walls (Robert) and Katherine Hires.
